A beginners’ course teaching you the basics of how to draw and have fun at the same time. We will use basic systems like squaring up, simple perspective, and proportions. We will also cover basic freehand sketching in soft pencils & charcoals. We will include a visit to a gallery and a couple of sketching trips outdoors, weather permitting. Those with some experience also welcome.

Discover the qualities of Charcoals & Pastels as separate or combined media. With demonstrations by an experienced artist which will include examples of famous practitioners. Subjects will include landscapes, still life, and ‘creative’.
